My name is Olivia and I’m an amateur translator working on content related to the latest Square Enix games. I also attend and report from video game events like E3 Expo, Tokyo Game Show, and Jump Festa.
I started translating news articles and developer interviews regarding the Kingdom Hearts series for fansite KHInsider in December 2008. Over the years I branched off and started my own site HEARTSTATION.ORG, however as I progressed in college, I had less time to spend on it and eventually it was closed. However, all the work I translated has been archived at SQEX.INFO, which is where I currently update my latest works.
I attended the Hokkaido University of Education Hakodate in Japan for a year and earned my Bachelor’s of Arts in Japanese Language from University of Alaska in December 2011. In 2013 I was accepted into the JET Program and received placement in Shichigahama, Miyagi Prefecture as a Coordinator of International Relations.
I also work freelance and take requests, please send me a message if you have something you’d like me to look at. If you enjoy reading my translations and repost them across the web, I appreciate a link back to my homepage or Twitter account.
