The official Kingdom Hearts blog, Message from the KINGDOM announced a new trailer for the DS title Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded accessed from the official site. You can also view it below.

Jiminy: At the end of our journey, there remained two journals.
Jiminy: One should have recorded two journeys…
Jiminy: But instead only one line remained.“Thank Namine.”
Jiminy: No, in order for that one line to remain,
Jiminy: The duty in the first volume must have been fulfilled.
Mickey: I don’t remember this sentence…
Jiminy: I didn’t write it either!“Their hurting will be mended when you return to end it.”
Mickey: Seems there might be someone out there who needs our help.
Mickey: Let’s look into this in detail!
Chip: It seems we can access the journeys in Jiminy’s Journal!
Goofy: If we can fix up the world data that’s gotten strange, maybe we can figure something out?
Chip: In that case, someone needs to travel into the data worlds to fix them! What shall we do?
Mickey: There is only one person who qualifies to solve this mystery!“There are more hurts than the one you have just undone.”
“Undo the hurt to unbar the way.”
The content shown in the trailer is extremely similar to the original content from Coded, however there are some slight differences. Many new abilities have been added to Sora’s repertoire and some new modes have been added (points 1:36-1:45). Also, the lines appearing in Jiminy’s Journal have been modified from the original English in Coded.
As previously mentioned, the Japanese release date is October 7th, 2010. The blog entry mentions that this trailer doesn’t contain all the new elements Re:Coded offers, so please look forward to the follow up.
UPDATE: Famitsu.com added an article announcing the release date and it contained more screenshots which have been added to the GALLERY.

Also in anticipation of the upcoming North American release of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, GameSpot has posted a Q&A interview with series director Tetsuya Nomura. It appears to be a mash up of interviews that the director previously did prior to the Japanese release, however if you haven’t been following our translations, please check it out!
